The Sims 3 allows players to create vegetarian Sims
PETA has awarded The Sims 3 by Electronic Art a Proggy Award for being the Most Animal Friendly Game of 2009.
The Proggy Award is short for “progress,” and is intended for PETA to recognize companies that display animal friendly themes in their products.
According to PETA, The Sims 3 can feature Sims who not only eat vegetarian, but become ill if served vegetarian food.
Wonder if these Sims can force their meat eating virtual friends to have a Quorn patty here and there?
“Rumor has it that game testers have reported that vegetarian Sims live longer and age more slowly than meat-eating Sims,” PETA continued. “Of course, that would jibe with studies showing that real-life vegans and vegetarians are less prone to obesity, heart disease, diabetes, and other life-threatening conditions.”
Do these Sims get better premiums on their health care coverage?
If not, it’s time to make changes for The Sims 4!
