“Skinny Bitch In Love” Sample Recipes From Kim Barnouin

Kim Barnouin, co-author of several best-selling books in the Skinny Bitch series, has made her novel debut.
The story centers around gourmet food lover Clementine Cooper, her love for cooking and handsome men.
Vegan cooking and baking is a central theme in the story and Barnouin has shared a few recipes that nicely complement the story.
The Skinny Bitch Cooking School’s Orange Blossom Cookies, for example, are one of Clementine’s favorite that she teaches students in her baking classes.
The utilize fragrant and flavorful orange blossom extract and one of Barnouin’s favorite vegan butter substitutes, Earth Balance.
The Silver Steer’s Vanilla Cake with Jam Filling is taken from the chapter where Clementine is hired by millionaire restaurateur Zack Jeffries to add some plant-based items to his menu. Once again, a non-dairy substitute, almond milk, gives the dessert an opportunity to shine.
“These vegan recipes are some of my family’s favorites, easy to make and delicious,” Barnouin said. “Even Clementine Cooper wouldn’t be caught dead pawning off desserts that weren’t completely fabulous!”
