Vegetarian Star

Rosanna Davison is planning a vegan friendly wedding with fiance Wesley Quirke.

The former Miss World and model who recently promoted veganism with PETA explained that while it won’t be a completely vegan wedding, both she and non-vegans will be able to have their cake and eat it too.

Davison, who’s also considering gluten-free options for the menu said:

“I’ve made inquiries about it and you can get two layers as normal and then one layer vegan. You can get the vegan chocolate biscuit cake and I would have that whole layer to myself!”

She’s willing to compromise on non-vegan desserts but don’t expect her to grant Quirke’s wishes on having roasted pig as the centerpiece.

“The food at the wedding won’t be all vegan. Wes is carnivore unfortunately. He said a while ago that he wanted a pig on a spit, and I was like ‘No way in hell am I having that at my wedding’.”

Davison, who happens to also be a nutritionist, proves once again that vegans and omnivores can peacefully get along in relationships.

Of course there’s always opportunity for conversion after the couple says, “I do.”
