Model Athena Wilson Guilty Vegan Food Pleasure

Model Athena Wilson has had a pretty busy life during the past year.
She’s graced several fashion runways, including those for Mulberry, Giorgio Armani, Theyskens’ Theory, Mary Katrantzou, Ann Demeulemeester, Roland Mouret and Mugler.
When she finally gets some down time, Wilson loves to go in her kitchen and do what you might not suspect from a stereotypically slender supermodel.

In a feature in New York Magazine, Wilson explained her passion for cooking vegan foods like egg-free quiche.
What do you do in your spare time?
“I like cooking a lot. I’ve been vegan for five years and I make a really good quiche from pureed nuts and beans, and broccoli.”
Wilson would like to eventually become a sustainable farmer and travel to places where the environment is in need of repair, such as those with polluted rivers.
When asked if she had any guilty pleasures, Wilson replied, “Plenty.”
Vegan food is probably one of them.
