“Eat St.” Cookbook Offering Vegetarian Food Truck Recipes

If you can’t get enough of watching how good food is made on the road on the Food Channel’s popular Eat St., you now have the opportunity to make the same tasty dishes from your kitchen without wheels.
Eat St.: Recipes from the Tastiest, Messiest, and Most Irresistible Food Trucks features 125 recipes from the best food truck vendors tested and approved by host of the show James Cunningham.
And while Eat St. contains recipes from the best food trucks in North America, it doesn’t necessarily focus on typical American food.
After all, not every burger and fry combo purchased on the corner in the meatpacking district is made from actually meat.
“We wanted to provide a taste of the show. In the book we wanted to have variety, not just North American comfort food,” Cunningham said. “We’ve got burgers, naan, vegan stuff — I’ve never come across a food truck I haven’t liked.”
The 304 page book complete with color photographs is now available from Pintail.
