Dr. Jenn Berman On Raising Vegan Kids

Dr. Jenn Berman has given a lot of relationship advice, whether it’s been on VH1’s Couples Therapy, her SiriusXM radio show, in any one of her books or in her private practice.
Now she’s dishing out great tips for parents who want to raise vegan children.
“I love being a vegan because I know that I am not contributing to the pain and suffering of animals on a day to day basis,” said Dr. Berman in a video for People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals.
“For me being a parent and raising vegan children–it’s a philosophy. It’s not just what we choose to eat and don’t eat.”
Dr. Berman feels activism is a great way for children teach others about the vegan lifestyle and gain self-esteem from the experience. Like other activities and hobbies, she thinks it could also serve as a good deterrence to some problems that arise in adolescence.
So this summer, why not help John or Susie put up a soy milk smoothie stand and earn their allowance?
