“Good Housekeeping Simple Vegan” Cookbook Debuts Next Year
Written by Vegetarian Star on December 14th, 2010 in Books, Food & Drink.
Good Housekeeping, one of the oldest women’s magazines filled with diet, recipes and health advice, has compiled its first collection of vegan recipes.
Good Housekeeping Simple Vegan!: Delicious Meat-Free, Dairy-Free Recipes Every Family Will Love, is set for release in March of 2011.
The Good Housekeeping editors are making their completely vegan debut brief and simple, with 100 recipes wrapped into a 160 page book.
But don’t make assumptions about the volume. A description from Amazon includes some same dishes from the book, which include great comfort meals like vegan mac and cheese, tasty twists on traditional breakfast like Pumpkin Waffles, adding a kick to basic grit dishes like Polenta with Spicy Eggplant Sauce and including delicious vegan desserts like Deep Chocolate Cupcakes.
Good things come in small packages and it sounds as if Good Housekeeping Simple Vegan will be a little gem packed with big ideas for preparing animal-free meals at home.
