Food Network “The Cooking Channel” To Air Veg Special “The Veg Edge”
Written by Vegetarian Star on December 8th, 2010 in Film & TV, Food & Drink.
The Food Network’s sister channel, The Cooking Channel, will air a special show highlighting vegetarian and vegan culture across the United States on Thursday, December 9th at 9PM ET. The show, titled “The Veg Edge,” will examine veg eating in five major cities: New York, LA, Seattle, Austin and Portland. Host and vegan cookbook author Isa Chandra Moskowitz will take the audience through local veg food carts, restaurants, chefs and food writers and grocery stores.
The Cooking Channel has a brief statement on the show, which mocks faux meat.
“From a punk rock vegan in L.A. to vegetable-loving firemen deep in the heart of Texas to a kickboxing chef who serves up meatless Mondays at his high-end NYC restaurant. Vegetarians 2010: food carts in Portland, a California beauty, East Village hipsters, confessions, recipes, even ribs…sort of.”
Tune in tomorrow night for an hour of “sort of” rib fun and more!

Its about time! I think there should be a veg cooking show series. Even alot of non veg people like to eat and cook vegetarian/vegan meals. Stop airing all the unhealthy shows and let help America get healthy.
