Giveaway–Harmony Valley Vegetarian Burger And Sausage Mix
Written by Vegetarian Star on October 5th, 2010 in Business, Environment-Eco-Green, Food & Drink, Giveaways.
Faux meat mixes are fun to play with in the kitchen. You get to make a patty as big or small as you want and shape it to desired thickness. And who can beat an easier mix than one that requires you only add water?
Harmony Valley Vegetarian Burger and Sausage Mixes are soy based, vegan certified, kosher certified, high in protein and contain 0 grams of cholesterol and trans fat.
We’re giving away 5 pairs of faux burger and faux sausage mixes. Think of it as matching his and hers gifts, only these fauxs are a lot classier than the cubic zirconia he tried to pull off for an anniversary gift instead of that eco-friendly mined rock she asked for.
To enter to win one of the 5 sets of faux burger and faux sausage mixes, you may do the following:
- For 1 chance to win, leave a comment on this post saying why you want Harmony Valley Vegetarian Burger and Vegetarian Sausage mixes.

Would love to test these new vegan meats out in my kitchen! I cook for a ton of meat eaters and I am always trying to convince them how delicious veg and vegan food actually is. These products would be a great way to help mitigate the fear these meat eating friends often have of vegetarian meat substitutes.

I have been vegetarian for two and a half years and flirt with going vegan. I have felt such a change in how I feel. I live at home with my mom and sister. They both are big meat eaters. I have tried to get them to eat less meat, but they don’t like many of the options out there. If I can sneak a new meat substitute into their diet without them knowing maybe they will be more open to other changes. I live with someone that has MS and they do not benefit from red meat. Fighting the love of meat one meal at a time.

I am a new vegetarian and would love to try these mixes! I would love to find tasty foods my boyfriend would eat who is not vegetarian, so I only have to cook one meal! I have jumped into vegetarian with both feet and am excited about the possibilities! I hope to also learn more about the products available to me without emptying my pocketbook.

I do a lot of cooking for a couple of omnivores who eat vegan when they eat with me. I don’t get to show off any burger-inventing skills with them, though, because neither likes Boca burgers or Nature’s Burger or any of the others I’ve tried. They’ve responded positively to a richly flavorful tahini/garlic/basil burger (the “Woodward Veggie Burger”), but that recipe doesn’t lend itself to much variation in presentation. It wouldn’t work with barbecue, for example, or a Hawaiian recipe. So I’d like to get these mixes to see if they can help me spread the vegan love to my omni friends.

I have been a veggie for 12 years. Morning star and Boca are getting pretty boring.

I would love to try Harmony Valley burger and sausage mixes; I don’t use a lot of mixes but they sure are sure nice to have around!

I have never really found a veg sausage I like. Some of the loose veg hamburger has an off taste that bleeds through in some dishes. I would love to try these in my quest for the perfect tasting meat substitute. It doesn’t need to taste exactly like the original to win me over, it just needs to be free of funkiness.

I love giveaways! They are such a great marketing approach. That said, I am a vegetarian of 40 years who has just gone vegan. While I am healing up from a broken leg, I would like to try some easy-to-fix vegan products such as Harmony Valley Vegetarian Burger and Vegetarian Sausage mixes. I would like to conduct a taste test for my non-vegan family members. Thank you!

I’m a new vegan so I’m trying anything new to get my favorites in place. This sounds delicious and may just be what I need to make that elusive homemade veggie burger that tastes like restaurant quality.
