New Yorkers and people from all over the globe will be headed out to their city’s destination for celebrations designed to rev up the fashion industry by encouraging consumers to get out and buy during the annual Fashion’s Night Out on September 10, 2010.
New York city’s Fashion’s Night Out will feature some green events, like it did last year when the Stella McCartney store offered vegetarian food.
Vegan cosmetic creator and model Josie Maran will be at the Sephoria’s Fifth Avenue Boutique giving mini makeovers and meet and greets to visitors.
Vegan designer Charlotte Ronson will host a party with Gossip Girl’s Michelle Trachtenberg at JC Penny (33rd Street and 6th Avenue). Charlotte’s sister Samantha Ronson will provide the music.
Bergdorf Goodman will be launching a pair of TOMS shoes featuring the New York city skyline. The shoes are one of several items that are part of a set of products containing city-inspired patterns. TOMS is famous for it’s buy one give one campaign, where it donates a pair of shoes to a child living in poverty when consumers purchase a new pair. It also carries vegan friendly designs.
