Lucy Clarkson Paints Herself “Bear”–Lara Croft Protests Fur In Guards’ Hats

Lucy Clarkson formerly posed as a model for Lara Croft, a character known for raiding ancient tombs and ruins, but she’s not likely to raid the ancient caveman’s closet for his fur shawl.
Clarkson took the time to pose in nothing more than a painted on suit to protest the use of using real bear fur in the Queen’s guards’ hats.
A spokesperson from the Ministry of Defence has commented on the use of bear fur in the hats and on the possibility of using fake fur in the future.
“No bears are killed specifically for bearskin hats for the British Army. All bearskins used in the UK are sourced from Canada where bears are culled under the direction of the Canadian government to keep the bear population under control.”
“The MoD remains open to testing material that industry might offer us to assess whether a faux fur meets the requirements for are placement bearskin hat material. So far industry has not been able to produce a suitable material to meet the Guards’ requirements.”
