Laura Whitmore To Judge Winning Vegan Shoe Design

MTV Europe presenter Laura Whitmore is helping to promote a competition to design the next fashionable vegan shoe.
The contest is a collaboration between PETA UK and vegan shoe company Beyond Skin.
Whitmore will choose the winning design.
“I truly believe that the future of fashion lies in sustainable, cruelty-free materials, and companies like Beyond Skin and organisations like PETA are leading the way in creating awareness,” said Whitmore.
“I am simply looking for ambitious young designers to put their best vegan foot forward and show me their idea for a new cruelty-free pump, flat, bootie or wedge. This competition is their chance to be a part of the trend towards compassionate fashion.”
Aspiring designers can easily share their ideas for cruelty-free fashion.
To enter the contest, go to Peta.org.uk until December 13 and upload your best idea for animal-free footwear. If your shoe is chosen, Beyond Skin will immediately start the manufacturing process and have the shoe on the market for its Spring/Summer 2014 collection.
