Actress Alyssa Milano’s had her hands tied lately, juggling both a new ABC television pilot, Romantically Challenged, with her clothing line of baseball themed attire, Touch.
Alyssa is no stranger to the ballpark, becoming inspired to design Touch after experiencing frustration in not finding any cute outfits that displayed pride for her team in the baseball shops. She’s also no stranger to ballpark food, and says it’s definitely not the place for dieting.
“Part of the fun of a baseball game is actually pigging out on the concessionary food and throwing peanut shells on the floor,” Alyssa said, according to stylenews.peoplestylewatch.com. “I have four seats at Dodger stadium and after a game it looks like a tornado came through.”
Alyssa, being vegetarian, can stuff all the peanuts and popcorn down her throat at Dodger stadium, but if she visits any of the 10 Most Veggie Friendly Ballparks, she can pig out a lot more.
Philadelphia Phillies fans can munch on faux Philly steak sandwiches and crab-free cakes on their home turf at Citizens Bank Park. San Fransisco Giants in AT&T park can get even bigger scarfing down vegetarian pot stickers, Gardenburgers, and broccoli tofu platters. And the Seattle Mariners at Safeco Field hit home runs with their veggie sushi.

Pamela Anderson is a work hard, play hard kind of gal and she proved this recently while attending the Vienna’s Life Ball AIDS event with other celebrities like Katy Perry, Bill Clinton, and Eva Longoria.
Before heading off to the ball, Pamela found time to chat with Austria’s justice minister, Claudia Bandion-Ortner about animal rights and free speech. It appears Austrian police are attempting to classify animal rights groups as criminals. When Pamela heard this news, she wrote a letter to Bandion-Ortner, asking for her assistance to prevent the potential censure of free speech.
The justice minister then invited Pamela to spend some quality one on one time with her, where she assured Pamela, she’d monitor the situation closely.
It helps to know people in high places.

Summer’s almost here. The sunny season marks lots of sunscreen, thongs, lemonade, and the F word. Uh, Gordon Ramsay’s F Word, that is.
The celebrity chef’s show, The F Word, follows Ramsay as he prepares three course meals at his F Word restaurant.
Rest assured Gordon will be doing much of his usual species slaughter during the show, including catching wild hogs and puffin, but at least one member of his celebrity cast moves away from the meat madness, if only for one episode.
Singer and TV personality Dannii Minogue whips up a lovely vegetarian risotto on episode 6, which is set to air on July 22nd at 9:00PM on UK Channel 4.
Gordon may be open to the vegetarian dish, given the fact he’s expanding his horizons lately, agreeing to partake in a Reality TV show based entirely on creating plant based dishes. Or he may critique it with his usual diatribe of profanities.

Moby was on his way to the dentist recently when he started a much intellectual discussion with himself about whether zombies would find vegans tasty.
Please note that he hadn’t been to the dentist yet, so there was no Novocaine or other mind altering painkiller involved.
“see, i know the zombies won’t want to eat the vegans, as vegans tend to be all skinny and stringy and we’re generally kind of speedy. they’re going to make a b-line for vegas and eat the people standing in the buffet line. cull the herd, zombies.”
Why the concern about zombies, you ask? After experiencing his first earthquake a few days ago, Moby also experienced his first zombie escape. You can view a pic of the zombie escaping the trunk of a car on his journal.
Of course, Moby never thought to ask if zombies themselves were vegan. That fugitive zombie could just have a mean craving for sweet and sour tofu.

Ewan McGregor was recently on The Late Late Show with Craig Ferguson.
Craig asked Ewan what he was doing to cope with living in LA. The Angels and Demons star replied, “Yoga and therapy.”
Craig started rambling off ways to be healthy and said, “Yoga, moisturize, therapy, and a vegan diet and you’ll live forever.”
Unless things have changed, we know Craig’s not vegan or even vegetarian yet and he might still have fears about soy and man boobs.
Many of you have the vegan thing going on. Russell Simmons likes a yoga studio that will hook you up in New York. We’re partial to Aubrey Organics moisturizers, as most of them are vegan and can be used by all veg folks. That leaves therapy….well…Dr. Phil did drop the V word on his show once.

The series are short, comedic skits about veganism. If you recall us telling you earlier, one of the videos involves making fun of dating a vegan. Joanne gave more details about her motivations for creating, Dating a Vegan.

Even though it took her almost forever to finally get her vegan restaurant off the ground, we’re learning more and more about Heather Mills‘ plans for her diner, V-Bites.
Chef Heather will be making guest appearances every Sunday cooking her favorites for customers. Now that’s ownership!
