The top 10 hottest male chefs have been profiled at Black Voices, and vegan chef Bryant Terry is hotter than a dish of haberno and serrano peppers drizzled with Tabasco sauce.

The food activist and author of Vegan Soul Kitchen takes traditional southern recipes like butter milk biscuits, removes the dairy, supplements pork and other meats with plant based protein like seitan and rounds it off with known southern vegetable players like seasoned greens.

“Based in Northern California, this “eco chef” and cookbook author is dedicated to promoting a “just and sustainable food system.” A friend of the environment and a pro in the kitchen? Perfect.”

Other hot chefs are the list are “Take Home Chef” Curtis Stone, Season 2 “Top Chef” contestant Sam Talbot and the British hottie but the mouth is potty Gordon Ramsay.

You’ll have to scroll down through the interview with “Top Chef Masters” Marcus Samuelsson before you can click through the slideshow.

Kelly Osbourne Turned Off Meat By “Food Inc.”

18th Annual Elton John AIDS Foundation's Oscar Viewing Party - Arrivals

Kelly Osbourne isn’t currently a vegetarian, but she has considered the source of where her meat comes from and is trying to eat less of it.

In her weekly Closer column, Kelly says watching the film Food Inc. has made her disgusted by the way most meat is obtained.

“I’ve become increasingly aware of how disgusting the American meat industry can be – and it’s seriously put me off eating meat … I’ve heard that cows are fed through a hole in their stomach to make them get fatter quicker and I can’t believe some chicken producers inject them with water first so they’re heavier!”

Kelly’s got a good point. While many suppliers in places like Europe are sourcing meat more humanely, such as slaughtering with Controlled Atmosphere Killing, major American restaurants like McDonald’s have failed to make this switch.

“I don’t have a problem with people eating meat, but I am careful to only buy organic now,” Kelly added.

Kelly attended the launch of Sir Paul McCartney‘s Meat Free Monday campaign, so she is at least supportive of less meat in everyone’s, American or not, diet.

Pamela Anderson A*Muse Clothing Lawsuit From Maggy London

Pamela Anderson and Richie Rich step out on to the runway in the A*MUSE by Richie Rich fall fashion show at Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week at Bryant Park in New York

Pamela Anderson may be facing a legal battle over the name of her eco friendly clothing line.

The line created by both she and Richie Rich, Muse, was later changed to A*Muse, a move Maggy London International claims was “a disingenuous effort to disguise their infringing activities.”

Executives at Maggy London filed a lawsuit on Monday claiming they trademarked the name “Muse” in 2002.

Maggy London claims they contacted Pamela and asked her to drop the name, but she refused.

Well, technically she’s put an “A” and a “*” in front of it, so it’s not “Muse” anymore so what’s the complaint?

Oh, yeah. Here it is.

From Contact Music:

“The suit seeks an order barring the designing duo from using any “colorable imitation” of the trademark and forcing them to hand over all profits and remaining clothing, for “impoundment or destruction”, according to the New York Post.”

Tribune Company Reaches Deal To Sell Chicago Cubs And Wrigley Field

Wrigley Field made PETA’s top vegetarian friendly ballparks for the first time ever.

The animal rights group’s annual list is out, and the Chicago Cubs were a tie with Prince Fielder‘s home turf and home of the Milwaukee Brewers, Miller Field.

Several vegetarian options at Wrigley’s include black bean burgers and vegetable wraps.

With Aramark, a major food supply company to many sports arenas, expanding their vegetarian menu at places like Boston’s Fenway Park, more first time nominees are sure to land on the list next year.

Some winners from last year are taking another victory, like AT&T Park.

San Francisco Giants fans may feel as if they’ve stepped into a fine dining restaurant instead of a ballpark, where vegetable pot stickers, portabello mushroom sandwiches, veggie sushi and edamame can be devoured.

Who was number one?

The Philadelphia Phillies were a repeat winner with Citizens Bank Park offering an eclectic selection of faux crab cakes, faux steak and faux chicken sandwiches as well as faux dogs, wraps and salads.

You already know that Moby is sensitive about his pancakes.

Thankfully, he does have other talents to help his self-esteem, and a therapist one day reminded him of what a great smoothie maker he was.

Still, it doesn’t help when you insult his pancakes.

“A few years ago, I was in therapy and my therapist kept asking me to name some things I did well. I mentioned making smoothies. It was sad that I couldn’t think of something more significant. It’s açaí juice, almond milk, frozen bananas, blackberries, spirulina powder and cacao powder. I put it in my crummy blender and make one smoothie. I take my ugly, dark, purple smoothie and I sit at my laptop.”

Smoothies are a class in their own, which is why you aren’t likely to find too many cookbooks with an entire chapter devoted to them.

Who needs them anyway, when you’ve got Smoothies: 50 Recipes for High Energy Refreshment, which utilizes soy, yogurt and milk to instruct you how to whip up the perfect fruit concoction.

Michael Cole, who’s real name is Michael Sean Coulthard, made a meatless boo boo the other day on a recent episode of WWE NXT.

The World Wrestling Entertainment play by play announcer mispronounced the word “vegan.”

Wrestler Bryan Danielson, also known as Daniel Bryan or “The American Dragon,” played on this verbal feud started by Cole by addressing Cole’s ignorance on his blog.

“Yes, I am a vegan, and no, it is not pronounced vee-jan… nor is it pronounced vee-jan in any part of the world. Michael Cole simply mispronounced it on NXT, and I assume he doesn’t know what it means.”

A vegan wrestler in WWE?

Oh, hell yeah!

Bryan Dan-Dan Bryan-Dragon Man is also no geek, either.  He’s a classical book/music nerd. Got it?

More from the blog:

“For all of his talk of me being a computer geek, I suspect I spend less time on the internet than just about anyone in the WWE, including him. Unlike Michael Cole, however, I don’t feel the need to judge people who do love using the internet. It’s a great social and commercial tool that allows people to access an infinite amount of information in a matter of seconds…I am probably some sort of geek/nerd… but more of the classic book reading, record listening. Perhaps Michael Cole will get it right next week and he can rip on me more for reading Carl Sagan’s “The Varieties of Scientific Experience” than for using the world wide web. But then again, he would probably mispronounce “varieties.”

How Sweet The Sound National Gospel Competition

If saving animals, helping the Earth and lowering your cholesterol aren’t enough to motivate you to go vegetarian, it’s time to wake up early on the weekends and go to church!

The recent PBS documentary The Adventists, explores the connection between faith and science and attempts to explain why Seventh Day Adventists live, on average, 5-10 years longer than most Americans!

Could it have anything to do with their diet and lifestyle?

As a major component of their faith, the Adventists promote and focus on maintaining a vegetarian diet, exercise and refrain from alcohol and tobacco.

The church bases this belief from the Christian Bible passage that “reminds us that the body is the temple of the Holy Spirit,” said Duane Rollins, treasurer of the Florida Conference of Seventh-day Adventists.

Church congregations across the nation have taken steps to improve the health of its members, whether through inviting health care practitioners to screen in between Sunday School and worship or programs that encourage a combination of exercise, calorie reduction and overall diet changes.

During the next Single Men or Single Ladies study, skip your trip to retrieve donuts for the group and bring fruit, low-fat animal crackers and Go Vegetarian pamphlets instead.
