Comments Off on Annie Ilonzeh Of “Arrow” PETA Angel For Circus Elephants (Video)
Annie Ilonzeh has gone from being one of Charlie’s Angels to an angel for circus animals.
The actress who stars in the new CW series Arrow, has filmed a PSA for People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals on how elephants are treated at some circuses.
“[Elephants] are super-emotional creatures, and to have that calf stripped of their mom by humans and abused is the most painful thing to see,” Annie says. “And I feel like if the public were a lot more knowledgeable about the way that they were being trained, where it’s not on a rewards system, it’s on a punishment system, then circuses would not exist—and they should not exist.”

Comments Off on Kristen Bell To “Shape” On Water Conservation With Neutrogena
Kristen Bell spoke with Shape Magazine about her environmental causes and passion for vegan cooking.
The actress has just partnered with Neutrogena Naturals for the “Jump in, Jump out, Join in,” campaign which encourages people to adopt water conserving habits, such as turning off the faucet while brushing one’s teeth.
“Environmental causes, including water conservation, have been a passion of mine for years. I recently visited Ethiopia with an organization called Charity Water and saw the water crisis firsthand, which inspired me to take a closer look at where my own water came,” Bell said.
The lifestyle component to the magazine that places the hip-hop entrepreneur’s worth at 75 million has a detailed story on both Simmons’ personal and professional life, including statements from those close to him.
“Before, it was all about making the artist big or a clothing line or something else,” Rev Run says of his brother. “Now it’s PETA, yoga. He puts the same energy that he used to put all into business so much that he couldn’t basically sleep and is now putting it into multiple causes. He has changed, but his drive didn’t change.”
