Comments Off on Internet Cat Film Festival A Huge Success (Video)

The first ever Internet Cat Film Festival was a huge success, drawing a crowd of over 10,000 feline lovers.
Festival Organizer Katie Czarniecki Hill said the idea started out as a joke.
“It is an experiment,” she told the Los Angeles Times. “It will be interesting to see if people think it is silly, or great, or a waste of time. But I like the idea of everyone admitting they like cat videos.”
A total of 79 videos were shown at the Minneapolis event, handpicked from about 10,000 entries.
This year’s winner in the people’s choice award was Henri 2, Paw de Deux, which won the “Golden Kitty” award. Henri 2 spends his moments lamenting the everyday problems cat endure, such as the pains of living with another “idiot” cat that annoys him by begging for cheeseburgers and the fact he’s not paid enough attention. Self-confident and secure with his body image, he pokes fun of humans who fear the bathroom scale.

Comments Off on Meatless Mouthful–Chris Jericho On Daniel Bryan Vegan Baby Face Appeal

“When Daniel Bryan first came in a couple of years ago, you saw the evolution of the character. He came in as like the NXT nobody, then gets fired and then comes back as a nerd and as a vegan. The vegan thing came about because Vince hates vegans. Vince would say “how could you not eat steak?” He made vegan into a heel tendency. I always knew Daniel Bryan would get over because once again look at his career path. He had gotten over everywhere he had been. You can make jokes that he wrestled in a bingo hall or a gym, but getting over is getting over whether it’s in front of 200 people or 20,000 people. It’s the same principle. How do I get the crowd on my side either as a heel or a babyface?”
—Chris Jericho, professional Canadian wrestler on the success of Daniel Bryan and the wrestling industry’s trend in relying on newbie wrestlers vs. older and more established ones to fuel a fan following.
Babyfaces always steal the show. Vegan babyface make the crowd come back for more.
