Comments Off on Meatless Mouthful–Stella McCartney Clothing Covers The Environment

“Being brought up on an organic farm and having a different way of looking at life comes into everything that I do. From day one I didn’t want to be a hypocrite. What we hope to do is to isolate out a mill to just start the process, one that we will work with on a daily basis. The whole idea of improving one’s environmental footprint in this industry is you have to work with people.”
—Stella McCartney to Vanity Fair, on the issue of producing environmentally conscious clothing. Stella’s brand has recently partnered with the Natural Resources Defense Councils’ “Clean By Design” a program meant to highlight ways to reduce pollution and make the most of energy resources at one of her clothing mills.
