Richard Linklater has made news for his Oscar-nominated film about an adolescent’s 12 years of life in Texas, Boyhood.

The critics will soon give accolades to a spin-off that follows the director through his last three decades of eating vegetarian, Veghood.

In a short video for People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals, Linklater can be seen throughout the years discussing what a plant-based diet has done for him and animals.

Beyonce has teamed with her trainer Marco Borges to launch a vegan meal delivery service.

The company, 22 Days Nutrition, is named based on the idea that it takes 22 days to make or break a habit. It’s a concept Beyonce and husband Jay Z adopted awhile back when they both went on a vegan cleanse diet.

Masterchef India, a spin-off of the original British version of Masterchef, is going vegetarian for its fourth season.

Co-judge chef Ranveer Brar, known for his culinary expertise on Indian cooking shows such as Breakfast Xpress, Snack Attack, The Great Indian Rasoi and Health Bhi Taste Bhi, discussed how going meat-free in a nation that maintains a heavily plant-based diet has opened up possibilities, both in terms of the variety of dishes prepared and the chefs who will be showcasing their talents.
