Starbucks Bistro Boxes Include Sesame Noodle And Tofu

Starbucks has announced that it will be expanding its meal options.

A line of bistro boxes priced at $4.95 and under 500 calories will include an option that sounds veg friendly.

The Sesame Noodle box features noodles, broccoli, carrots, red pepper, snap peas, with tofu, pickled cucumbers and sesame peanuts.

Andy Lally is a race car driver who’s a repeat winner in the Rolex Grand AM and recently won the 2011 Rolex 24 Hours of Daytona in the GT class.

A vegetarian who turned vegan 2 years ago, Lally’s choice was made primarily for ethical reasons.

“If (people) were able to see the mistreatment and what goes on and see what shows up to them in a nice shiny package,” Lally said.

“The Zookeeper” Receives Protests At Premiere

Activists from People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals staged a protest outside the Regency Village Theatre in Westwood, California at the premiere of Kevin James‘ new Zookeeper film.

Although New York Magazine says the movie earned an approval rating from the American Humane Association, the group claims a giraffe collapsed and died after filming a scene.

“I decided to do my own animal-free accessories collection so that I could design and wear things that I love, and so could my friends,” Guest wrote on her website.
