Boy George was a guest on the Queen Latifah Show where he shared a few of his favorite vegetarian recipes.

The singer who became famous for his role in the musical group Culture Club in the 80s, has a brand new album out, This is What I Do, and he’s looking better than ever for its celebration, thanks to his plant-based diet.

The singer jokes he can eat enough for the entire United Kingdom.

But with his choice of wholesome, lean, vegetarian ingredients for meals, you’d never be able to tell.

David Carter Oakland Raiders

Defensive lineman for the Oakland Raiders David Carter is one in the elite group of athletes who choose to power their game with plants.

Carter wrote an opinion article for Inside Bay Area, discussing the importance of what goes into his body.

“I must ensure I’m consuming sufficient calories to keep full and have the energy to perform at my peak while not overloading and slowing my body down,” he wrote. “My career depends on it. So many people are shocked when they learn that I fuel my body with a plant-based — vegan — diet. I’m just shocked that it took me 26 years to gain the wisdom to do it!”

Phil Neville, football coach of English team Manchester United, on what motivated him to go vegetarian. Neville gave it a try for a few days. In addition to feeling great, after learning about the great plant-based sources of protein like quinoa, nuts and soy, he knew he had scored a great goal.

Jennifer Lopez is one pop diva who’ll be requesting many more veggie items for her backstage stock in the future.

It appears that Jenny has discovered the best things “from the block” are the ones that come from the ground.

The 44-year old told New York radio station Z100: ”Being vegan, it’s basically no diary, no meat, everything is plant based and from the ground. Butter is the one thing I miss!”

The actress and author of her second book on the vegan lifestyle, The Kind Mama, shared what she absolutely cannot do without in the kitchen.

“I love my little lemon squeezer,” she said. “It’s this thing that folds open and you put a half of a lemon inside. I can use my hand instead, but there’s something so nice about getting every last drop.”
