Lea Michele Makes It A Soba Noodle Evening

Just ask Glee star Lea Michele, who recently Tweeted about her soba noodle stir-fry.

“Tonight I made the most delicious vegan soba veggie stir-fry! With a kale salad with miso dressing on the side! Yummy!”

A pro-vegetarian group would like fans of NASCAR and the Indianapolis Motor Speedway to reconsider the choices they make at the concession stands during the races.

A billboard erected near the racing complex depicts hot dogs in a cigarette carton, implying that eating such processed meat is as bad for your health as smoking.

Jan Maxwell

Jan Maxwell has seen success on the stage in productions like Follies and Lend Me A Tenor. Even though she’s following a mostly plant-based diet now, she would like to eat more award-winning vegan meals in the future.

“I’ve always been on some sort of diet,” Maxwell told Grubstreet. “The only thing that has really stuck for a couple of years now is that I’m gluten-free and a pescetarian with vegan aspirations. I’ve always wanted to be a vegetarian.”

The actress told the New York magazine what she eats in a typical week. There’s plenty of granola, Boca Burgers on gluten-free buns, vegetarian nachos and nuts on her menu.

Alicia Silverstone‘s fans know the actress could probably eat from the same bowl her dogs do. Silverstone placed her pets on a vegetarian diet years ago and has seen positive results.

“Since I changed their diet about 10 years ago, they’ve had no fleas or itchy hot spots,” she said. “Their immune systems got so strong that those things don’t bother them anymore.”
