As a legendary boxer with several heavyweight titles, Mike Tyson has always been pretty strong but he’s never been able to stop traffic.
Until now.
A vegan diet has propelled him to greater star status and Tyson can be seen on a billboard in Hollywood, California sponsored by the group Last Chance For Animals.

Yotam Ottolenghi gave vegetarians and vegans “plenty” of reasons to dislike him when he decided to redefine vegetarian, saying it was okay to eat fish and there were “no hard core boundaries anymore.”
His latest cookbook, Plenty, doesn’t appear to be competing with Webster’s by changing the definition of vegetarian, and is filled with 120 recipes organized by vegetable.

Vegan chefs will take over the stage at the annual Los Angeles Times Festival of Cooking taking place April 30 and May 1 on the campus of the University of Southern California.
The 16 year festival is one of the largest literary events in the country, attracting 150,000 people, including 100 author events and more than 350 authors from around the world.

Padma Lakshmi grew up in a vegetarian household, but after moving to the United States she slowly adopted a diet of cheeseburgers and meat topped pizzas.
Now that she’s given birth to her first child, a baby girl, she may be setting a better example by putting both baby and herself back on a vegetarian diet.
