Barack Obama has just been given a warning about his cholesterol numbers, but that didn’t stop him from ogling the fried buffet presented to him when he visited a restaurant in Georgia.
“I don’t want any lectures about my cholesterol,” Obama said. “Don’t tell Michelle.”
Such a shame.
The First Lady may never read ABC News and learn about the fried chicken and mayonnaise drenched potato salad served, but the lipid tests never lie.
Let’s hope Mr. President didn’t give into temptation and only put baked beans and sweet potatoes between his lips.

Ginnifer Goodwin appeared on Jimmy Kimmel Live where she discussed how her diet is a lot different from what she ate growing up.
Goodwin said she used to work in a barbecue restaurant in her hometown of Memphis, Tennessee and although she can still remember the smell, something she nicknamed “Eau de Memphis,” these days she prefers barbecue sauce on tofu instead of ribs.
Kimmel joked that was the reason Goodwin had to leave Memphis.
Of course, any Memphis vegetarian knows there’s no shortage of good tasting meatless food in the south!
Goodwin starred in Farm Sanctuary’s Adopt-A-Turkey PSA and told Kimmel she was the Turkey Ambassatrist.

An advertisement for an Australian based Internet company featuring Pamela Anderson has been banned by Australia’s Advertising Standards Bureau.
The ad features Anderson talking to a male co-worker when suddenly the male co-worker starts to fantasize about Pamela and another woman drenched in milk.
Supervegan questioned Pamela for starring in an ad containing dairy, given the fact she is such an staunch animal rights advocate.
However, Pamela could have requested soy milk or she may very well have a body double.

Mitt Romney may be a secret veg or pescatarian.
According to Page Six, the Governor of Massachusetts was spotted posing for the camera with staff at The Great American Health Bar at 57th Street in New York.
From the menu, the restaurant looks to be nearly vegetarian, serving plant based wraps, soups, pizzas and more, with a few seafood items here and there.
So refreshing to see a politician committed to his people and a good diet.

Christofer Ingle of Never Shout Never told Artists Direct how the song “Jane Doe” from the band’s latest album, What Is Love was created.
“I was actually sitting in a Santa Monica restaurant, eating with one of my buddies. There was this beautiful waitress, and I didn’t know her name but she served me an awesome veggie burger. I was like, “I’m going to write her a song, I’m going to go back and play it for her and I’m going to win her heart.” So I went back to my beach house and then started writing this crazy song about a girl named “Jane Doe” because I didn’t know the waitress’s name yet. I never ended up playing it for her though. It was really sad that I chickened out.”
Sad that Christofer didn’t get the girl, but at least he got a good meal.
Was the waitress really that hot or did the veggie burger serve as an aphrodisiac?
