Wendi McLendon-Covey, star of The Goldbergs, has a message to all cat lovers just in time for National Cat Day!

October 29, the day that celebrates the joys of feline friends, is the perfect time to get a lesson or a refresher course on good cat care.

Wendi reminds pet owners of the importance of shelter, fresh food and water and keeping a clean litter box.

Her newest addition to her cat family, Crash, has a spot in the PSA as well.

Crash is great at doing a lot for Wendi, including giving her wardrobe advice, dishing on friends and significant others and serving as a neighborhood watch cat.

Well…as you’ll see in the clip, maybe not so great at doing number three.

Director Darren Aronofsky is set to be honored by the Humane Society of the United States for his decision to use computer generated images instead of live animals for the film Noah.

“To the Rescue! New York” takes place on November 21 and will be serving vegan fare just before the annual holiday that is so heavily meat-based, Thanksgiving.

“When I started working on ‘Noah,’ an early question was how to express the vastness and complexity of the animal kingdom on the big screen,” Aronofsky said.

Norman Reedus isn’t prepping for his role by practicing the lifestyle of any of the characters in the post-apocalyptic series based on the comic books by Robert Kirkman.

In fact, he’s doing just the opposite.

The same is true for many of his cast mates on the set of The Walking Dead.
