Mandy Moore is lending her name to a campaign to encourage people to open their homes to shelter cats across the country.
Purina Cat Chow’s “Build Better Lives” program will support 50 shelters nationwide that focus on felines. It plans to donate $275,000 in products and money to these facilities dedicated to caring for cats.

Kathryn Prescott plays a 16-year old girl who learns her mother is actually a woman who abducted her as a young child on the new MTV series Finding Carter.
In addition to being able to portray a typical teenage girl, Prescott is required to eat a lot of frozen yogurt on the set.
The vegan has worked with the show’s crew to ensure she’s got a scoop of dairy-free dessert in any scene that calls for it. Even the gummie bears are vegan.
A segment on the TODAY show had the hosts discussing a new poll that found most Americans would rather have Bill Clinton in charge of their backyard grilling BBQ parties than any other president.
Her recipe for a one pot Tomato Soup with Israeli Couscous proves that an extravagant tasting plant-based meal doesn’t have to take hours in the kitchen to prepare.
“It tastes complicated, but making it isn’t.” she told US Weekly.
