Isabelle Cornish has been crowned Australia’s Sexiest Vegetarian for 2013.
The Puberty Blues actress has been quite vocal in her beliefs about a plant-based diet and has even asked producers on the set of her hit show to occasionally make accommodations for it.
During a scene where she was asked to eat an meat pie on a beach, Isabelle ate a vegetarian version of the classic Australian dish.
“I was brought up on a property surrounded by animals,” said Isabelle. “I learned about their soft nature, and how loving and beautiful they are.”

Jenny McCarthy is starring in a new ad for Carl Jr.’s that promotes its chicken salad.
Most people know celebrities change diets as often as they get cosmetic procedures, but it still needs to be stated that McCarthy has been known as a vegetarian since 2009.
The commercial is titled, “Forget You’re Eating Salad.”
Did McCarthy just “forget” she was eating chicken?
A recent episode of the Food Network’s Chopped featured contestants exploring vegan and vegetarian cooking with ingredients like tempeh, chia seeds and wheatgrass.
Owner of Philadelphia-based vegan restaurant Vedge spoke to the media weeks ago about his experience on the show. It was then that he gave hints about the ingredient of the night being tempeh.

But just like wardrobe malfunctions happen on the runway, when Vogue features director Eve MacSweeney tried cooking vegan for herself and her husband who has experienced some heart problems, a few issues occurred that hindered her ability to make the show go on.
“It was all down to me, it seemed, and pretty soon I was having a chickpea-induced nervous breakdown,” MacSweeney wrote.

The singer-songwriter and actress told E! Online all the details of the brand, Fingertip Fetish, that also happens to be very eco-friendly.
Unlike many other polishes that contain several chemicals suggested to be toxic to humans, animals and the planet, Fingertip Fetish is free from DBP and formaldehyde.
