South Park will show an episode this week that highlights the Japanese dolphin Hunt in a satirical way.
Whale Whores will offer a twist on the Animal Planet television series Whale Wars, starring Stan and his family.
A synopsis:
“Stan and his family are spending his birthday at the Denver Aquarium where they will get to swim with the dolphins. Things turn bloody when the Japanese attack, kill all the dolphins and ruin Stan’s big day. There seems to be no end to the senseless killing. Stan takes on the cause to save the dolphins from the Japanese.”
Whale Whores is on Wednesday night on Comedy Central.

Actress Abbie Cornish stars as Francis Fanny Brawne, the love interest of famous poet John Keats in the recently released movie Bright Star.
We’re proud to say Abbie is also a veg star and has been that way since age 13.
According to the Times Online, Abbie grew up around farm animals in New South Wales and spent her time painting, swimming and taking photos.
“I never felt like I just want to be an actor, and that’s it,” she said. “I always wanted to work with animals. I want to make music, to paint, to take photos, to travel…“That’s a lot, right? Sometimes I wonder how I’m going to get it all done.”
As a beautiful and talented actress, now’s the best time ever to work with animals and encourage others to do the same, Abbie.

“Dr. Neil Barnard for creating PCRM (Physicians Committee for Responsible Medicine). He’s great at getting the word out, and he looks so damn good doing it!”
PCRM is a network of doctors and other individuals who work to promote more ethical practices in medicine, research and health care.
They are for alternative methods of testing to animal research and advocate a vegetarian diet.
Dr. Barnard is the president of PCRM, has authored several books, contributed to academic journals and lay magazines and has been a proud veg since discovering the ribs in his med school cafeteria resembled the cadavers he worked on in the lab.
He’s also quite good looking.
Hmm…Maybe the PCRM could promote their mission better if their doctors did do nude veggie PSAs.
Jacqueline MacInnes Wood and her Secret Life of The American Teenager boyfriend Daren Kagasoff were spotted at Madeos in Beverly Hills during a romantic dinner night out.
If Jacqueline knew the secret life of the average fur factory farm, where animals are kept in cramped cages and skinned alive for their pelts, she might think twice before donning a real fur vest and opt for a Rachel Zoe faux vest instead.

Several celebrities have signed a petition to call for an end to the Department of Defense‘s use of animals in military training exercises.
Tom Morello, Chuck D and his wife Dr. Gaye Theresa Johnson, Serj Tankian, Fletcher Dragge and every member of Anti-Flag to end the practices that, according to PETA, include various forms of torture such as stabbing, beating, burning and even removing an animal’s limbs.

Kinky's Celebrity Pet Files
Kinky Friedman has just released a book, Kinky’s Celebrity Pet Files, that gives the lowdown on all the four legged celebrities and their human counterparts.
Kinky writes about historical individuals like Mark Twain, Winston Churchill and Ernest Hemingway as well as celebs of today such as Brian Wilson and Willie Nelson.
One of the more humorous parts of the book include the captions under the pets indicating what the animal is thinking.
One such photograph is of Phyllis Diller dressed in a fur coat holding her cat with the caption above the cat reading, “How many cats did it take to make that jacket?”
What better way to illustrate moral schizophrenia than to have kitty tell it like it is.
