Mayim Bialik has shared a few vegan substitutions for traditional Passover dishes in the New York Times “Well” blog.
In a post titled, “A Vegan Passover,” the blog discusses how certain foods restricted at Passover, grains, beans and corn, may present a problem for vegans who subsists on the items.
The traditional Seder plate, consisting of six foods that symbolize the story of Exodus, contains both lamb and egg, two items that are definitely not vegan.
Bialik has created substitutions for both.
