Jay Z is making his New Year’s resolution a little early this time.

The rapper and husband of R & B singer Beyonce has announced he’s adopting a vegan diet for physical and spiritual cleansing.

He’s been doing meatless breakfasts for awhile and has now put himself on the three plant-based meal a day plan.

The musician most known for his work with the band Boston recently received the Compassionate Action Award from the animal rights organization.

Iggy Pop is backing a movement in his home state to prevent wolves from being hunted for sport, a measure many current residents of Michigan agree with.

The iconic singer supports the Keep Michigan Wolves Protected campaign and has written a letter to Governor Rick Snyder in protest of the state’s first sanctioned wolf hunt in decades.

Such a hunt has not taken place since the animals were put in protective status in the 1960s.
