Jessica Alba Promotes Natural Cleaners In “The Honest Life”
Written by Vegetarian Star on May 3rd, 2013 in Actresses, Environment-Eco-Green.
Jessica Alba‘s new book on eco-friendly living includes tips for cleaning your pad that will help keep Mother Earth clean.
“It’s easy to make your own natural cleaners at home with basic ingredients like baking soda, lemon juice, white vinegar, essential oils, and a very simple soap,” says Alba.
Not only are natural products better for the planet, most of them are also better for the animals.
Cleaning products free of toxic chemicals, dyes and parfumes less likely to be tested on animals or contain animal ingredients.
And if you can’t find a product on the shelves that suits your needs, like Alba said, “it’s easy to make your own.”
Start off with a few of these recipes for cruelty-free cleaners from PETA. There are plant-based recipes for removing grease spots, oven cleaning, deodorizing and more.
