Reeves revealed she loves mushy vegetables, similar to the consistency of dahls.

After the chef asks “Why?” as if Reeves has gone off her asparagus for wanting mushy vegetables, Reeves replies, “Don’t judge me.”

To each his own, including his preference for vegetables!

Harrison Ford and fiancee Calista Flockhart have already welcomed an addition to their family.

Indiana Jones and his lady have adopted a few mixed breed dogs that were abandoned after their mother was hit by a car and left to fend for herself in the cold.

Troy Jackson, executive director of Northwest Animal Companions, had been given permission by the owner to nurse the dogs back to health, but something wacky happened and the owner filed grand theft charges against him.

After much media attention, including from Oprah and Ellen DeGeneres, all charges against Jackson were dropped.

Requests from animal rights activists convinced authorities not to return the dogs to the owner.

“They’ve gone from rags to riches,” Jackson said. “They’ll live a better life than you and me ever will.”

O'Neal Hampton "The Biggest Loser"

O’Neal Hampton was eliminated from The Biggest Loser last week, but he’s not about to those 150 pounds he lost come back!

The father is still exercising and eating right, which in his opinion means eating organic.

“People say that organic food and healthy food is so much more expensive,” he said, according to Hollywood Outbreak.

“Not for me. The tradeoff was what I was spending in co-payments going to the doctor and then my medication for the 12 pills that I was taking a day I’m now spending in food, which is a lot cheaper than medicine.”

If you need to save money and aren’t sure you want to buy everything organic, don’t forget to refer to the Environmental Working Group’s “Dirty Dozen,” the list of foods that should always be bought organic due to the high levels of pesticides found on them.

The Offspring Perform At The Verizon Wireless Amphitheater

If your favorite item was taken off the menu at a restaurant, why not stage a peaceful protest?

Or at least talk to the manager about bringing it back.

Alkaline Trio started its band in the Chicago area, so Matt Skiba was well acquainted with vegetarian and mostly vegan restaurant on Halsted, The Chicago Diner.

Skiba loved the Vegan Caesar Salad so much, when it disappeared from the menu, he requested it be put back on there.

Skiba told VegNews, “Chicago Diner is amazing. I love that place. I’ve been eating there since I can remember. Two years ago they took my favorite thing off the menu. Initially it was called the Seitanic Caesar Salad, this vegan Caesar salad that was absolutely killer. Then they changed the name of it-they have funky, fun names for a lot of dishes-and then, I don’t know why they did it, but they took it off the menu and I was so bummed about it that I went in and complained. I was nice about it and they obviously make great food aside from that salad, but I politely protested and said that they should put it back on the menu. And they did! About two weeks ago I got a phone call from a friend of mine saying that they put the Caesar back on the menu.”

From the looks of the current Spring/Summer offerings, the Vegan Caesar Chicken Salad still has a place at the diner.
