Tony La Russa has been my favorite Manager since he led the White Sox to a Pennant in 1983. I was delighted to learn that he has been a vegetarian since the 70′s. I myself was born in a strictly vegetarian family, started eating meat in my 20′s (it was my stupid way of rebelling, I guess) and then gave it up about 5 years ago after watching a couple of documentaries about the unspeakable atrocities perpetrated on animals in the name of food production. I think most people would give up meat if they realized how it’s produced in so called “factory farms”.
